The time to use your voice Now to say which sites you feel are acceptable and which are not!

We draw your attention to the East Herts District Council papers for this meeting of the Council's Executive because within these papers at item 9, is a list of sites put forward for potential development as part of the Council's call for sites process and review of the District Plan adopted in 2018.  
Councils are being asked by central Government to increase the amount of housing they are expected to deliver. Sites put forward in the past and rejected are being put forward again (19 ) including Hertingfordbury (from 283 pages of all East Herts District Plan maps). The papers also include information on other matters which may be of interest to you including the potential sale of the land occupied by Hertford Town Football Club on West Street, possibly to the club.  There is also a paper on parking strategy.

Hertford Civic Society review the papers in detail and will attending the meeting on Tuesday evening. (there will be no opportunity to speak).  We need to be conscious that inclusion of a site in the district plan establishes the principal of development. It is no good waiting until a planning application comes forward to object.
